Suffolk based Multithread Consultants Ltd was founded in 1988 by Managing Director Richard Gould, who has a background in hardware design and software development. The company has grown to include Software Designers and Developers, Network, RF and Wireless specialists.

Recognised as experts in wireless & networking we are the UK & Ireland Master Distributors for Ubiquiti and MikroTik providing consultancy, training as well as pre and post sales technical advice. We provide solutions to a wide range of clients through our own eCommerce platform LinITX.com as well as running a rural community broadband WISP.

We also undertake development and support contracts for large Blue Chip organisations and in-house development of our own supply management and eCommerce platform.

This is a fast growing sector of the industry and joining our team is an exciting opportunity for individuals with real enthusiasm for technology, desire to provide excellent customer service and the ability to keep learning new technical skills.

The Position

This is a new role within an established, rapidly growing IT Distribution and Support company and an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to make their own. Based at our Needham Market office you will be working with a small friendly team. The position is full time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week, with 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.

Job Title: Accounts Clerk/Bookkeeper
Reporting Line: Managing Director
Location: Needham Market, Suffolk

Key Working Relationships: Customers, suppliers, banks and internal sales departments.

Objective of the role: To support the company Managing Director with all accountancy tasks.

Main duties:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Reconciling online company bank statements
  • Credit control
  • Reconciling credit card payments
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Submitting Intrastat and EU sales lists
  • Dealing with prepayments and refunds
  • Organising financial paperwork and filing
  • Being able to communicate efficiently within a small team

Skills and experience:

  • Bookkeeping experience essential
  • Fully AAT qualified
  • 3 years experience
  • Good knowledge of fundamental computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate information

Start: ASAP
Hours: Full time Mon-Fri, 9am- 5pm
Location: Needham Market, Suffolk (free parking)

Salary: £ 25,000 p.a.
